Vadym Krasnooky participates in Ukrainian version of Danish animated movie "Terkel and trouble". First, he is singing one of the songs in the movie, and the fragment with this song (which is a true music video on it's own) is now may be seen on M1 TV. Also, one of the main characters of this cartoon talks with the voice of Mad Heads XL leader. "Terkel and trouble" is packed with provocative South Park style humor, and it's expected to become a success in Ukrainian movie-houses. In cinemas since 9 November.
While Max Kochetov is moving to Serbia, MAD HEADS XL are still going to stay a 6-piece. The new member is ready for action and he will perform with the band for the first time on 13 October in Docker Pub. The new guy's name is Bogdan Gumenyuk and he is playing tenor saxophone (while Kochetov was playing alto sax).

We are coming through another change in the line up. Max Kochetov, our saxophone player from the early days of MAD HEADS XL, is leaving Ukraine and going to live in Serbia. We wish him good luck and a lot of success in the new place. The last band's performance with Max on stage will take place at art-pub Docker's ABC on 6 October (check out the address and time below), come to make your farewells! Apart from this, on 28 September in art club 44 (Kyiv, Khreschatyk str. 44) Max Kochetov holds a farewell party that features all Kyiv's bands he ever played with, including MAD HEADS XL - start at 22-00.
Attention! The place of concert in Rivne has been changed. Instead of earlier anounced Maidan Nezalezhnosti, the concert will take place at Central Stadium Square.
MAD HEADS XL officially declare that the band IS NOT GOING TO PERFORM on 24-25 August at "Independence Day with Makhno" festival in Gulyay-Pole. The promoters of the festival DIDN'T GET the permition from us to use the name of the band in the festival's promo campaign, so the promoters are completely responsible for any possible inconvenience considering this situation. We ask mass media representatives, especially those, who were involved in the festival's promo campaign, to refute this incorrect information.
MAD HEADS XL created a soundtrack for the comedy TV serial "Davay odruzhimos" ("Let's get married"). First and second of 20 series can be seen on Saturday 19 August at 18-05 on 1+1 TV. While the band members are no fans of the "situational comedy" genre to which this film belongs, working on the soundtrack was fun and a good experience, and the main theme is a nice one. Later this year, the serial is also going to be shown in Russia on STS TV.
